Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the west in an excellent game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the casino, unlike the majority of other poker games that players wager with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, starting players do not need to worry about other, more advanced gamblers taking their mulla.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, rookies will be able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make hasty decisions.

It’s also simpler to gamble on for a long time with basically a small amount of money seeing as, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the dealer receives 7 cards face down.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
