Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

Web poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players are given five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must either make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your ante goes directly to the bank. After the wager comes the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a sum equal to the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out cash even with your initial bet and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
