Recently, I received a question from one of my students. It stated, "What exactly is pot probabilities and is Texas hold’em pot odds strategy worth pursuing?"

One issue to remember, any type of Texas hold em odds can and usually do obtain very confusing. Even so, let me break pot odds down in quite uncomplicated terms. Please note that we are only discussing Pot Probabilities. Not outs, implied probabilities, basic probabilities or anything else like that.
