Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the western in an excellent game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the casino, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not need to worry about other, more knowledgeable players winning their $$$$.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game play, newcomers should be able to take their time and scheme without having to make hasty decisions.

It’s also easier to bet on for a long time with only a tiny amount of money after all, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the croupier is dealt seven cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
