Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the house, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By competing against the dealer, new players do not have to be concerned about any other, more advanced players taking their $$$$.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game play, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make quick selections.
It’s also simpler to participate in for a long time with basically a tiny bit of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
