Online poker has become globally famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players receive 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you need to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original ante, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your ante goes immediately to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, plus a figure equal to the original bet. If the house does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The dealer pays money equal to your ante and set expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
