Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the western in a wonderful game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By competing against the dealer, starting players don’t need to fret about any other, more skillful individuals winning their $$$$.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game play, newcomers can take their time and strategize while not having to make frenzied selections.

It is also easier to gamble on for a long time with basically a little bit of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the croupier is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
